Lucky Leash is run by Gianna Meola (with occasional help by other qualified walkers in the area). Gianna is an artist and teacher, who started off dog walking in 2017 using a dog walking app. Quickly she realized that those apps are unsafe for both the dogs and walkers, so she moved on to a walking company, working there until 2021.

After that she worked for other independent dog walkers until 2025, where she started her own business.
